Recovery

Recovery refers to the act of sleeping a specific kind of schedule to get rid of the sleep debt caused by a [failed] attempt. This is usually a schedule that has the -Recovery attribute, meaning it has at least one core where a very late alarm is used.

The most common recovery schedule is Mono-Recovery, followed by Siesta-Recovery.

Recovery is usually done until sleep has been stable for at least five days, at which point it can be assumed that no more sleep debt is present. For MonoRec, the total sleep time at this point is equal to your sleep-requirement baseline. Usually, this stability is reached after 1-3 weeks.
