Premature wakes
Premature wakes are a phenomenon experienced largely during stage-2 and sometimes stage-4 or even 3, where the body is not adjusted to the correct end time of a sleep and thinks you need to wake up earlier than you really do. This is a problem with alignment, and should subside after adaptation, though early wakes from cores can also be a natural and positive product of compression. If however you start to wake prematurely after adaptation, or sleep quality begins to decrease without energy decreasing, it is a sign that you can and maybe even should reduce slightly further.
When waking up <30mins before the end of a 2+ cycle core, do not go back to sleep. The same applies when waking up after about half of a nap.
