Adaptability
For schedules to be adaptable,- they must provide enough TST to accommodate REM, SWS, and the light-sleep buffer.
- they must not have excessively large gaps.
- they must allow for some amount of sleep debt recovery so that Stage-4 can happen.
- they must have the sleeps at appropriate times for peaks
- they must fit the sleeper (e.g. some people cannot get vitals in naps)
